Peanut Butter Lunch Lady Bars

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix the Base
    In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and peanut butter until smooth.

  2. Add Dry Ingredients
    Stir in the powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Mix well until fully combined — it’ll be thick and crumbly, like cookie dough.

  3. Press Into Pan
    Press the mixture evenly into a 9×13-inch pan (you can line it with parchment for easy lifting later).

  4. Make the Chocolate Topping
    Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until smooth.

  5. Top & Chill
    Spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer. Use a spatula to make it smooth. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is set.

  6. Slice & Serve
    Once chilled, cut into squares. Store in the fridge (or freezer for firmer bars).
