Super-juicy onion meatloaf, so flavorful, tender, and aromatic that I have to have it on the table twice a month! Try it once, fall in love forever.

Peel and finely dice the onions, then fry them in butter until translucent. Set aside and let cool.
Soak the bread rolls in water, squeeze out any excess water (or use breadcrumbs).
Combine the ground meat with the onions, bread rolls, eggs, mustard, and seasonings, and knead thoroughly.
Form the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased casserole dish.
Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. If desired, drizzle with a little broth during the last 15 minutes for extra juiciness.
🍽️ Serving tip:
Perfect with mashed potatoes, gravy, and red cabbage 🥔🍷
Or classic with spaetzle and cream sauce.
A delicious spread on bread the next day – cold or warm! 😋
✨ A favorite dish for the whole family – hearty, savory, and super easy!
